COVID Clean and Safe Charter
During the Coronavirus pandemic we will be taking extra measures to help keep you safe and ensure you can relax and enjoy your nature break.
We have signed up to the Canopy and Stars Clean and Safe Charter which means we will:
Follow government cleaning advice for non-healthcare environments
- Highly touched, hard surfaces will be cleaned then disinfected
- Check-in will be after 4pm and check-out by 10am
- All linen will be washed on the hottest water setting before a guest's arrival
Enable self-check ins and practice social distancing during the stay
- Guests can stay without coming into contact with the owner
- Guests will be asked to confirm, before their arrival, that they are well and have not come into contact with anyone with COVID-19
Have measures in place to allow guests to practice good hygiene throughout their stay
- All spaces will be stocked with necessary disinfectant, cleaning supplies, hand sanitisers and soap.
- Where possible, other measures to reduce risks will be taken. For example, highly touched items such as guest books will be removed and information provided digitally instead.
- Crockery and cutlery which will have been washed in the dishwasher at the highest setting will be left in two plastic boxes for guests to unpack during their stay. At the end of their stay guests will be asked to put clean dishes back in the boxes for collection.
- Guests will be asked on departure to place their used linen and towels in special plastic bags for safe removal.
- Guests will also be asked to open windows on their departure to air huts in advance of cleaning.
